Starmount Vocal Academy welcomes students of all ages and levels for vocal study. Whether you are a child, a young person, a young adult or an older adult, if you want to sing, we have a place for you at SVA! Our mission is to provide excellent quality vocal instruction in a safe, caring environment with a teacher who will structure your study to fit your goals, your desired pace and the type of music you enjoy.

For children beginning at 10 years old, we begin with simple exercises and songs using a fundamental vocal approach that is healthy and nurturing while fostering a greater love for music and singing.

For youth, we will assist in building a healthy and positive vocal technique regardless of the type of music preferred.

For adults, we work on establishing, reestablishing or continuing to improve a fundamentally sound vocal approach that will increase range, endurance and quality of singing - thus bringing more confidence and pleasure.

SVA teachers are also singers with backgrounds in performance and teaching of a wide variety of music. You can read about our teachers on the SVA Teachers page.
