The SVA Children's Chorus provides children from 3rd through 6th grade an opportunity to sing as a chorus outside of school. Participation is free, but a simple screening will be required. Those chosen will rehearse at Starmount Presbyterian Church and prepare programs of a variety of music both educational and fun! The Children's Chorus will also be given an opportunity to share their music with older adults in assisted living and other care facilities throughout the season.

Rhonda Overman, SVA Children's Chorus Director, brings a wealth of vocal experience to SVA from her professional singing career to her studies at one of the world's most prestigious conservatories, the Akademie Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria. Her musical passion for children's chorus direction has grown out of her music ministry at Starmount Church.
