The Power of Generosity…
At Starmount, we believe that giving is an important part of our life of faith. Making faithful choices about money is one of the most challenging areas of Christian life. Jesus, himself, taught more about developing a right relationship with money than almost any other issue of faith.
One of the words that Christ-followers use to talk about giving is "stewardship." Stewardship is a way of life that recognizes that everything we have belongs to God. We are simply managing those resources while here on earth.
We, at Starmount, therefore encourage generosity to the world in general and to the church of Jesus Christ in particular.
Donations to Starmount Presbyterian are always welcome. We devote 89% of funds received to the ministry of Jesus Christ with and through our congregation. We are proud of the fact that the additional 11% of donations received go directly to support ministry in Christ’s name through mission partners in Greensboro, the United States and the world.
