Mary's House
Mary’s House, a faith-based ministry creating opportunities for learning and healing, empowers and strengthens women and their families who are caught in the culture of addiction. Mary’s House provides transitional and permanent housing, life skills training and a supportive community for homeless women in recovery from substance abuse.
This program is one of the few in the United States that allows women to raise their children while in treatment.
66% of the graduates maintain sobriety for at least one year after graduation. The national average is 15 to 20% for this one year hallmark. All of the residents go to school for additional education or are employed. Most do a combination of schooling and work. All residents are required to attend daily AA meetings and receive in house counseling throughout their stay.
