HealthServe
HealthServe is an organization that Starmount helps to support by giving funds, which totaled $1,800 in the past year. The organization serves as a community health clinic providing primary care, pharmacy services, social work services, mental health counseling, and lab services to those who cannot afford to get health care – the uninsured and underinsured – in our community.
A recent visit revealed that a large number of refugee families, many of whom are uninsured, utilize the services provided by HealthServe. Starmount, a strong supporter of Lutheran Family Services, has helped many such families settle in Greensboro.
